AEW Star Fined $10,000

One AEW star is lighter in the pocket after facing a huge fine for their behaviour in the company.

FTR is not fine. In recent weeks, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have been caught up in Adam Copeland’s attempts to dethrone Jon Moxley as AEW World Champion that failed to pay off.

The frustration has been palpable despite Wheeler, Harwood, and Copeland agreeing to go after the AEW Trios Title against the Death Riders at Dynasty. Copeland and Wheeler seemed eager for Rated FTR to stand together but Harwood voiced his thoughts that he’d rather FTR challenge for the tag team gold but soon came around to the idea.

On Collision following his loss to Wheeler Yuta, Harwood ended up putting his hands on referee Paul Turner as well as his own partner. Now on the April 2 edition of Dynamite, Harwood has been made to pay for his actions.

In a backstage segment, FTR appeared with Renee Paquette and Paul Turner with Harwood handing over $10,000 after being fined for assaulting the referee. Harwood apologised to Wheeler as well but Cash Wheeler noted that while all might be well for their title challenge at Dynasty, after that they really need to talk.
