Why AEW Star Wants Fans To Call Their Faction This Name Instead
One AEW star is hoping that fans will stick with an unofficial name for their faction for a very good reason.
Thekla made her presence felt in AEW earlier in 2025 when she took out Jamie Hayter. Hayter required time off after suffering an injury at Double Or Nothing, and in her absence, Thekla recruited Skye Blue and Julia Hart to be by her side. And the Triangle of Madness was born.
Jamie Hayter has returned to AEW with the group firmly in her sights. Recent brawls have led to Thekla, Hayter, and Kris Statlander being named as Toni Storm’s three challengers for the AEW Women’s World Championship at All Out.
Thekla Delighted By AEW Faction
Speaking on AEW Unrestricted, Thekla explained why she was not surprised that AEW saw synergy between her, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue:
I saw it coming, honestly. I think there are so many parallels, especially with me and Julia in the way we move in the ring, and also our love for extravagant visuals. She’s got a very artistic mind too, and that’s my base too. We’re all into the same type of music, also. So I think there’s a base with that.
I was not shocked at all. I think it’s a phenomenal fit. I’m just excited to see where we can take it really.
As far as the group’s name, The Toxic Spider hopes fans will simply refer to them as “Madness” to allow the group to grow:
For now, I just hope people are gonna stick with Madness – and hopefully call us that too, because in my head, I think we could definitely use some more people on our team, and I’d love it if we even expand at some point. Maybe even guys, who knows.
