A famous Attitude Era name and current AEW star deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame according to Cody Rhodes.

With WrestleMania just around the corner, the topic of the WWE Hall of Fame is never far away. As usual, there’s as much online conversation about who hasn’t been inducted as who has and will be in 2025.

One name that’s regularly brought up is AEW star Dustin Rhodes. The veteran has had multiple spells with WWE, most notably in the Attitude Era where his Goldust character is credited with pushing the boundaries like no one had before.

Rhodes is also a three-time World Tag Team Champion, three-time Intercontinental Champion, and seven-time Hardcore Champion.

In a new interview with Fox News, WWE Champion, and Dustin’s brother, Cody Rhodes, said he’s deserving of an induction. Their father, the legendary American Dream Dusty Rhodes was inducted in 2007.

“And I’ve oftentimes said my brother. I feel like he had more if an important role in the Attitude Era and moving forward. And I think he’s extremely talented. I think I’d like to see that not just because I believe he deserves it, which he does, but I’d love to see the family just more added.

The Hall of Fame doesn’t mean the same to everybody if that makes any sense. To my family, the Hall of Fame is the thing – the title and then the Hall of Fame.”

Sting Yet To Hold Talks With AEW

Meanwhile, Tony Khan revealed that Sting hadn’t approached him about attending the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame.

The Icon’s long-time close friend Lex Luger is set to be honored as part of the class of 2025, and many fans would love to see Sting on hand to induct him. In fact, Luger himself has previously hinted that he’d like the WCW legend involved.

However, the issue is complicated by Sting’s current deal and relationship with AEW. When asked whether there had been talks about Sting appearing alongside Luger, Khan said the topic is yet to come up while giving little else away.

Luger is set to be inducted alongside Triple H, Michelle McCool, and the Natural Disasters.
