AEW Star Could Be Kicked Out Of Major Faction
There could be trouble ahead for one AEW faction.
Back in May 2023, Don Callis began to form the Don Callis Family after turning his back on Kenny Omega. This saw him recruit Konosuke Takeshita, Will Ospreay, Sammy Guevara, Kyle Fletcher, and Powerhouse Hobbs before the end of the year.
While members have come and gone since then, the group is currently 12 strong, including Callis.
Through 2025, Fletcher has enjoyed a rise not only through the ranks of the action but AEW as a whole, establishing himself as a main event star in the process. And according to the man himself, that’s in no small part thanks to Callis.
While speaking to The Ringer Wrestling Show, Fletcher opened up about his real-life relationship with Callis.
“My relationship with Don now is great. We talk all the time, we text all the time. He always helps out with promos or matches or whatever, he always has little tidbits to throw me.”
He went on to reveal that he’s also part of a huge work chat group where everyone offers advice and support.
“The other guys in the family, as well, we have a big group chat. We have to work together all the time. Honestly, like 50 numbers in there, don’t have any of them saved.”
When asked whether he could be kicked out of the Family, or kick someone else out, Fletcher teased that it might be time for a member to leave.
“I think at this point, I’m gonna be the one kicking someone out. I don’t know who it is, but it feels like it might be coming pretty soon, honestly.”
AEW Star Kyle Fletcher Hits Back
In the same interview, Kyle Fletcher also took the opportunity to respond to recent criticism from Stevie Richards. The former ECW and WWE star said that Fletcher needs someone to teach him how to work, suggesting he “looks like an eventual NXT Superstar.”
In response, Fletcher said that while he welcomes criticism and is happy to learn, he didn’t feel like the comments from Richards were in good faith. He described claims that there was no one from him to learn from in AEW as “horsesh*t.”
At All Out, Kyle Fletcher is set to challenge for the AEW World Championship for the first time when he meets “Hangman” Adam Page. Unfortunately for Fletcher, all members of the Don Callis Family have been banned from ringside.
Elsewhere at the event, Family members Kazuchika Okada, and Konosuke Takeshita could clash over the Unified Championship.
