AEW Star Confirms They Are Cleared To Compete

One AEW star will be back in action soon.

After much speculation, Sammy Guevara has revealed he’s been cleared to return to the ring. The Spanish God has been out of action for more than two months after suffering a concussion, but it seems it won’t be long until he’s back on AEW television.

Sammy Guevara’s time off has likely been extended by the birth of his daughter. Guevara and his wife Tay Melo announced the birth of Luna Melo Guevara on November 28th.

Speaking on the latest episode of his vlog, Guevara confirmed he’s been cleared to wrestle.

“It’s been a minute since we’ve been on here. I’m doing good, I’m cleared. If it was gonna happen, it kind of happens at the best time,”

When Did Sammy Guevara Last Wrestle In AEW

Sammy Guevara hasn’t wrestled since competing at WrestleDream on October 1st. On the night the star teamed with Will Ospreay and Konosuke Takeshita in a match against Chris Jericho, Kota Ibushi, and Kenny Omega.

Shortly after the match, it was revealed that the former TNT Champion had suffered a concussion.

There has been no official word on when Guevara will return to the ring.
