AEW Star Challenged To Double Title Match
AEW star Konosuke Takeshita will have the chance to add more gold to his International Title but he’ll have to go double or quits.
Konosuke Takeshita captured the AEW International Championship at WrestleDream and since then he’s not been shy about putting the gold on the line but is yet to do so in Tony Khan’s company.
Takeshita defeated TNA’s Josh Alexander at a Maple Leaf Pro show before successfully defending the title in NJPW against TJP. But immediately after that second defence, Konosuke Takeshita was given another challenge.
NJPW NEVER Openweight Champion Shingo Takagi appeared to confront Takeshita, challenging him to a double title match at Wrestle Kingdom in the Tokyo Dome on January 4th.

Adam Cole Challenge Awaits Konosuke Takeshita In AEW
The Conglomeration’s Tomohiro Ishii appeared during the segment as well with an implication being made that Ishii will await the winner of that match one day later at the cross-promoted Wrestle Dynasty show.
Before that, however, Konosuke Takeshita has been tasked with taking out Adam Cole and stopping Cole from picking up his third win which will give him a match against MJF at Full Gear on November 23rd. Don Callis happily took a bundle of cash from MJF to put the crown jewel in his Family forward to take on Cole.
