AEW Star Cautions Bitter Ronda Rousey Over Negativity
Ronda Rousey has been extremely candid with her thoughts on WWE and Vince McMahon while promoting her new book in recent weeks.
The former UFC star left WWE after SummerSlam 2023 and in her new biography, Our Fight, Ronda Rousey revealed the conversation with Triple H that brought her time in the company to an end.
In interviews promoting the book, Ronda Rousey has blasted Vince McMahon and suggested he might still be controlling the company through Bruce Prichard, another figure whom she has not pulled her punches on.
However, one man who knows Vince McMahon very well having worked closely with him for many years and now plies his trade in AEW thinks Rousey needs to try a different tact.
Jim Ross Wants Ronda Rousey To Unsaddle The Negative Horse
Speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross gave his thoughts on Ronda Rousey’s explosive comments and suggested that the “awfully bitter” star will better promote her new book by being more positive:
It’s unsettling, honestly, I don’t know that’s the way to promote any product in a negative light. Negative light doesn’t shine very brightly on most projects. I understand what she’s doing. I understand why she’s doing it. She wants to sell books and I’m sure her book is good.
She’s very outspoken, she’s very honest, but I think sometimes you gotta unsaddle that negative horse, saddle it back up with something more positive, and that would be my suggestion to her.
I’m a big fan of Ronda Rousey. She’s special. No one has ever been quite like her, but she’s awfully bitter right now. I think she’d be better served talking about her book than talking about her experiences with WWE. You can sure tell by the little bit that I’ve read or heard from her, she sure as hell is not a fan of Mr. McMahon.
Vince McMahon has been accused of sexual assault and sex trafficking in a bombshell lawsuit that led to TKO bosses telling McMahon to resign from his role as Executive Chairman of the company.
