AEW Star Back After 3 Months To Challenge For TNT Title

Kyle Fletcher AEW

One AEW star will be back in the ring after a three month absence to challenge Kyle Fletcher for the TNT Championship.

Adam Cole was forced to vacate the TNT Title ahead of All In Texas, leading to a hugely emotional moment on the show as Dustin Rhodes captured the gold. Soon after, Kyle Fletcher defeated the veteran star in a wild street fight to win the title.

Fletcher has lived up to his Protostar name since joining The Don Callis Family, and at All Out, he was a heartbeat away from dethroning Hangman Adam Page to become AEW World Champion. Per the stipulation of that match, if any of The Don Callis Family got involved, then Fletcher would have been stripped of his TNT Title.

Despite the biggest prize in AEW being just out of the Australian star’s grasp, he still has challengers lining up for his gold, and he’ll defend it on the September 27th edition of Collision against a star who has been missing for several months.

Kyle Fletcher Taking On Komander On AEW Collision

Komander was last in action on the June 4th edition of Dynamite when he teamed with JetSpeed to defeat La Faccion Ingobernable. The luchador suffered a knee injury that has kept him out of action ever since. But now he’ll be back in an AEW ring to challenge for the TNT Title.

Collision will also see The Acclaimed reunite to face Blake Christian and Lee Johnson. Jerry Lynn has forced Max Caster and Anthony Bowens back together to try and get them to recover their magic, which has been lost since they split up.

Eddie Kingston and HOOK will also partner up to clash with Big Bill and Bryan Keith.
