AEW Planning Stadium Show In Surprising Location

Tony Khan AEW

AEW is returning to Wembley Stadium for All In on August 25th but could Tony Khan have yet another stadium show up his sleeve?

The first All In AEW presented at Wembley Stadium was a runaway success for Tony Khan’s company, so much so that before the show was over, it was already announced that there’d be a repeat in 2024.

That show will see Bryan Danielson put his wrestling career on the line as he challenges Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship. Toni Storm will also get her hands on Mariah May as she puts the AEW Women’s World Championship on the line against her former protege.

There have been suggestions that AEW is looking to hold a stadium show in Texas in 2025 but now it seems Tony Khan could have plans even further afield.

AEW Heading Down Under?

Sporting News has reported that AEW is currently in talks over a 2025 stadium show in Australia. Sydney’s Allianz Stadium, Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium and Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium are all mooted as possible venues with entertainment company TEG said to be backing the show.

AEW will be holding its first show in Japan in 2025 as it teams up with NJPW to deliver Wrestle Dynasty from the historic Tokyo Dome on January 5th.
