A former WCW star is working backstage with AEW.

On a recent episode of Dynamite, fans thought they spotted a face from the past as MJF got into a brawl with Rush. And it turned out those fans were right as buried among the chaos was former WCW star Glacier.

This sparked speculation around Glacier’s status and whether or not he was signed to AEW.

A new report from Fightful Select has offered an answer to the speculation, confirming the veteran has been working as a producer and coach. Glacier, real name Ray Lloyd is no stranger to AEW having taken part in the first-ever Casino Battle Royale in 2019.

Glacier is best known to fans for his spell in WCW between 1996 and 1999, although he made a brief return to the company in early 2001.

Veteran Blasts AEW Stars For Refusing To Train

Meanwhile, several AEW stars have come under fire from WWE Hall of Famer Madusa for refusing to train.

On a recent episode of her podcast, Madusa recalled briefly working with AEW in 2020. The veteran explained that she was shocked to find how few of the female talent were taking advantage of training sessions with Dustin Rhodes. Especially as, according to the former WWE star the women’s division “sucked” at the time.

Madusa recalled approaching one star over the issue who promptly claimed they were injured and didn’t have to train. She added she felt the unnamed talent was an “arrogant little bitch.”
