AEW Forced To Save 3-Time Champion From Himself After Hospital Stay
A three-time champion in AEW has finally been able to give their first public comments after they were confined to the hospital.
Darby Allin sees no issue in putting his body through absolute torture. The former TNT Champion scaled Mount Everest in 2025, returning to the company at All In Texas to wage war against Jon Moxley and the Death Riders.
Allin was stopped from defeating Moxley in a brutal coffin match at All Out by a returning PAC, but got the ultimate measure of revenge when he forced Moxley to quit when they met again at WrestleDream.
Darby Allin was initially part of the Continental Classic that will dominate AEW over the coming weeks. Allin lost his first match in the competition to JetSpeed’s Kevin Knight. Now, on the December 3rd edition of Dynamite, commentator Excalibur confirmed that Allin had been taken to the hospital after that match. A video also played on the show, showing Allin recovering in a hospital bed.
Since then, Darby Allin has been replaced in the Continental Classic by another former TNT Champion in Jack Perry. But despite having to sit the Classic out, Allin maintains that he feels great.
Darby Allin Being Saved From Himself By AEW
Speaking to 93.7 The Fan, Darby Allin explained that he feels in great shape, but the doctors and AEW are saving him from himself by not clearing him to compete:
I feel a million bucks right now, I’m not lying. I’m just not medically cleared. They’re saving me from me, which is fine. Which is good but at the end of the day, I feel amazing right now.
