AEW Revolution Match Pulled From The Show
One AEW match planned to take place at Revolution ended up being pulled from the show while it was on the air.
Revolution promised to be a stacked show with Jon Moxley defending his AEW World Title against Adam Copeland in the night’s main event. Christian Cage crashed that party to try and upset the odds completely but in the end, Moxley proved to have more lives than the average cat as he escaped with his gold once again.
Mariah May challenged Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship as their brutally violent feud went to an entirely new level. In the end, it was the bloody shoe that May used to turn on Storm in the summer of 2024 that was used against her to give Toni Storm her Hollywood ending as she retained her title.
But one title match had to be scrapped.
Chris Jericho Match Pulled From AEW Revolution
Four matches were announced for the Revolution Zero Hour pre-show with Chris Jericho scheduled to defend his ROH World Championship against Gravity.
Before that match could take place, Chris Jericho attacked his challenger with a baseball bat. Bandido – Gravity’s brother – rushed to his aid but Jericho unmasked Gravity while continuing the attack on both men with the help of The Learning Tree. Jericho walked out with Gravity’s mask as the match was cancelled.
