AEW has not been shy about adding to its roster over the years and now Tony Khan is increasing his broadcast team with another new signing.

In recent months, AEW has added Alicia Atout to its broadcast team as well as Arkady Aura who have joined Renee Paquette as the regular backstage interviewers in the company. Now it looks like another name has joined the ranks.

Taking to social media, former TNA and Lucha Underground broadcaster Melissa Santos confirmed that she has joined AEW and is ready to get to work:

Did you miss me? 💋

Thank you @aew for the opportunity and to those who helped make this happen. Grateful 🙏 Now let’s get to work.

Melissa Santos Joins AEW At Uncertain Time

Melissa Santos has previously worked for WOW: Women of Wrestling as well and has competed in the ring on a handful of occasions. Her last in-ring outing came on an independent show in 2018 when she teamed with her husband, current AEW star, Brian Cage to defeat Delilah Doom and Eli Everfly.

In recent days there have been conflicting reports over AEW’s future with Warner Brothers Discovery as speculation mounts over a new TV deal being reached for Tony Khan’s company to remain with TBS and TNT.
