AEW Referee Indulges Mark Henry After All Out Sneering

Mark Henry

One AEW referee has taken the high road after apparent criticism from WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry over one odd moment at All Out.

All Out was one of the wildest nights in wrestling history with the crowd left chanting “This is murder!” after Jon Moxley suffocated Bryan Danielson with a plastic bag as the Blackpool Combat Club – minus Wheeler Yuta – turned on the American Dragon after he retained his AEW World Title against Jack Perry.

But those paying close attention during that title match might have seen an odd moment when it looked like referee Bryce Remsburg had pushed Perry out of a pinning predicament.

Unsurprisingly, this was picked up online with former AEW talent Mark Henry damning the moment by saying nothing when he wrote in response to a video of the exchange on social media:

I’m not commenting. I’ll be called a hater.

AEW’s Bryce Remsburg Responds To Mark Henry

Bryce Remsburg responded to Mark Henry noting that the former World Heavyweight Champion had always been kind to him during his time in AEW and urged Henry to reach out directly if he had advice to give:

Hey Mark! This angle doesn’t show exactly what happened. You were always so nice to me backstage at AEW and I constantly helped you with your travel whenever I could. If you think something is wonky, feel free to reach out directly whenever.

Mark Henry joined AEW in 2021 at Double Or Nothing but ended up doing very little on-screen with the company other than introducing main events on Rampage before his three-year deal ended in 2024. Henry’s son has recently been signed by WWE.
