AEW Record Smashed By The House Of Black

The House of Black might not be AEW Trios Champions but the group have now broken a record showing their dominance in the company.

Since forming a trio in AEW, Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews have brought terror wherever they went. When The House of Black poisoned the mind of Julia Hart she joined the group, making them an even bigger threat and capturing the TBS Championship from Kris Statlander in the process.

House Of Black Dominate AEW

On the 19th of October 2024 edition of AEW Collision, The House of Black was in trios action against Alpha Zo, Chris Nastyy & Olumide. Black, King, and Matthews didn’t waste much time in getting the job done, however, as they picked up the win in under three minutes. As a result of the victory, The House of Black broke the record for the most trios wins in All Elite Wrestling history with 25.

The House of Black captured the AEW Trios Championship from The Elite’s Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks at Revolution in 2023. During their reign with the title, they defeated the likes of Best Friends, the Jericho Appreciation Society, and even the short-lived trio of CMFTR before losing their gold to The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass at All In.

The House of Black will hope to be even stronger again very soon as Julia Hart’s return to the ring after injury is believed to be imminent.
