AEW Ready To Revive Forgotten Show

Tony Khan AEW

Tony Khan might have another trick up his sleeve as a name for a new AEW show has apparently been revealed.

AEW recently signed a new deal with Warner Brothers Discovery ensuring that Dynamite and Collision will be on air for the next three years at least.

There is a belief that Tony Khan has another show in the works as AEW recently trademarked the term “Shockwave” but it is yet to be revealed if that show will come to fruition.

But it looks like yet another show is in the works.

AEW Parade Of Champions Coming Soon?

AEW filed on the 5th of November to trademark both “Parade Of Champions” and “AEW Parade of Champions.” The filing for the trademarks reads that they are for:

Educational and entertainment services, namely, a continuing program about wrestling accessible by radio, television, satellite, audio, video and computer networks; Entertainment services in the nature of live wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of wrestling programs and events; Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing multimedia program featuring wrestling distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing series featuring wrestling provided through television and the internet; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of wrestling

The first Parade of Champions show was held by the NWA and the Gulf Athletic Club in 1950. The name came to prominence in the NWA in the 70s before it was revived by WCCW in the 1980s. The WCCW Von Erich Memorial Parade of Champions in 1984 saw Kerry Von Erich defeat Ric Flair for the NWA World Heavyweight Title.
