AEW Rampage Spoilers – September 27th, 2024
AEW rolled into Springfield, Massachusetts for Collision and Rampage on September 21st.
With a double taping set for Grand Slam at Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 25th, Rampage was taped on September 21st following Collision.
Dynamite Grand Slam is the first of a series of big events for AEW with the fifth anniversary of Dynamite coming on October 2nd followed by WrestleDream on October 12th.
At Grand Slam, Nigel McGuinness will wrestle his first singles match in over a decade when he takes on Bryan Danielson. Although the match won’t be for Danielson’s World Title, Darby Allin and Jon Moxley will be fighting for the right to challenge for AEW’s top prize.
AEW Rampage Results
On Rampage, Anna Jay made a winning return to the ring after competing in Stardom’s 5-Star Grand Prix tournament. The match was her first in AEW since June 26th.
Elsewhere, there were wins for the House of Black, Konosuke Takeshita, The Acclaimed, and Willow Nightingale.
- The House of Black (Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews) def Lio Rush and Action Andretti. Rush & Andretti had communication problems during the match
- Anna Jay def Robyn Renegade. Jay is making her return following her participation in Stardom’s 5-Star Grand Prix tournament
- Konosuke Takeshita def Angelico
- The Acclaimed def Ryan Clancy and TJ Crawford. They will be a part of Grand Slam next week when MxM Collection reveals what they have done with Max Caster’s jacket
- Willow Nightingale defeated Taya Valkyrie
