AEW Rampage Spoilers For January 13th 2023

Following Dynamite in the Kia Forum on the 11th of January, AEW also filmed Rampage with a big title match and a street fight taking place on the show.

AEW returned to Los Angeles, CA for its second-ever show at the Kia Forum which was headlined by the final match in the best of 7 series between The Elite and Death Triangle for the Trios Championship.

Fans may have been expecting Mercedes Mone to appear on the show but the women’s tag team match went ahead as advertised as Toni Storm teamed with Saraya but fell to defeat at the hands of AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter and Dr. Britt Baker DMD.

  • Darby Allin defeated Juice Robinson to retain the TNT Championship
  • Segment with AEW Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed and The Gunns. Max Caster fluffed his lines during his rap and had to re-do it. The Gunns interrupted the champions and ended up getting their pants pulled down before running away.
  • The Kings of the Black Throne (Malakai Black & Brody King) (with Buddy Matthews & Julia Hart) def. Eddie Kingston & Ortiz after Hart and Matthews distract Ortiz. Ortiz walked away after the match without Kingston.
  • Renee Paquette interviews Paul Walter Hauser in the ring, and he discussed his love for pro wrestling. Danhausen came out and said he wanted Hauser’s Golden Globe Award. Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, Sonjay Dutt, and Satnam Singh interrupted, and Hauser insulted them. Jarrett hit Hauser with his guitar, but the Best Friends (Orange Cassidy, Trent Beretta & Chuck Taylor) made the save.
  • Ruby Soho & Willow Nightingale def. Tay Melo & Anna Jay A.S in a Street Fight.
