AEW Rampage Spoilers For August 9th

Darby Allin AEW

After a wild night of action on AEW Dynamite, the company taped the next episode of Rampage to air on August 9th.

Dynamite in Winston-Salem saw American Champion MJF face off with The Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher as Fletcher looked to avenge his old friend Will Ospreay. Despite Don Callis trying to get Fletcher to use a screwdriver to take out MJF, the American Champion picked up the win following a kangaroo kick and a brainbuster.

Will Ospreay had been trapped in his locker room but managed to escape and make the save as MJF threatened to use the move that the English star won’t as he set Fletcher up for a Tiger Driver.

Mariah May will challenge Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s Title at All In but before that, she picked up a win over Viva Van. May was presented with a gift after the match which turned out to be a picture of her and Toni Storm embracing but written on the back was the message “Die Mariah Die.” Toni Storm then attacked May before security and referees split them up.

Bryan Danielson picked up a win over Jeff Jarrett in the night’s main event before he was confronted by AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland. Strickland challenged Wheeler Yuta to a match on the next edition of Dynamite before he clashes with Danielson in a title vs. career match at All In.
