AEW Rampage Spoilers For August 16th

After a big night of Dynamite action in Norfolk, Virginia with plenty of implications for All In, AEW taped Rampage to air on August 16th.

TBS Champion Mercedes Mone put her title on the line on Dynamite against former AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida. Mone picked up the win with a little help from her personal brickhouse Kamille before Mone’s All In opponent Britt Baker ran in to attack her after the match.

Chris Jericho offered up a title match at All In to one star but with a huge stipulation meaning that if they lose they’ll never challenge for the FTW Championship again.

There was controversy in the AEW Tag Team Title match between The Young Bucks and The Acclaimed. FTR interfered to stop The Bucks from cheating to win but after provocation, Dax Harwood took out Matthew Jackson causing the disqualification. FTR will now face The Acclaimed with the winners getting an AEW Tag Team Championship match at All In.
