AEW Planning Huge Show In Major American City

There are plans for AEW to have its biggest event in the United States at some point in 2025.

The biggest All Elite Wrestling event in company history was the 2023 edition of All In, which took place at London, England’s Wembley Stadium. There were over 70,000 people in attendance at that event.

On August 25th, AEW heads back to Wembley for All In 2024, which is likely going to have over 30,000 fans in attendance depending on the setup.

In America, the biggest AEW shows in terms of crowd size have been the Grand Slam events at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City with about 20,000 fans in attendance.

It has been reported by Fightful Select that AEW’s Tony Khan has big plans for the company in 2025 as far as major events go. Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp is reporting that AEW is planning to run a major-scale event in the Dallas, Texas area in 2025. Sapp noted that it “could be a stadium show” although that wasn’t confirmed, nor was a specific stadium named.

The report also noted that it would be on par with AEW’s biggest event, which is likely a reference to All In.

An announcement could be made about AEW’s major Dallas-are show by the end of 2024.

AEW is doing several weeks of AEW Collison, ROH tapings and an ROH PPV Death Before Dishonor at Esports Stadium Arlington, but that’s a venue that holds about 1,000 people for wrestling. The Dallas area residency begins this Saturday, July 20th with AEW Collision.

Tony Khan Looking To Secure AEW TV Rights

All Elite Wrestling’s television contracts with Warner Bros. Discovery are set to expire at the end of 2024, so there are plenty of reports about what their television/streaming future might be. Tony Khan said recently that WBD wants AEW to stay although there is no telling when a new deal might be announced.
