AEW Original Remaining With Company

A key member of the AEW team is staying with the company after signing a new contract.

The name of Mikey Rukus may not be known by most AEW viewers, but if you watch the product regularly then you are supporting his contributions. That’s because Rukus is AEW’s music producer.

It has been reported by Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp that Rukus recently agreed to a new deal with All Elite Wrestling. The terms and length of the deal were not part of the report, but the deal is expected to keep Rukus with AEW moving forward.

For over five years, Rukus has been a big part of AEW and is known for producing many of their iconic theme songs. Some wrestlers in the company use songs that are known from other places, but the majority of the talent uses songs that were created by Rukus.

There have been reports that WWE was looking for somebody to run their music division, but they won’t be able to get Rukus for that role since he’s staying with All Elite Wrestling.

In addition to producing several theme songs, Rukus has also worked on music for wrestlers outside of the company as well. Rukus has also produced orchestral and 8-bit albums of themes as well.

After the news of Rukus staying with AEW long term, he went on social media to make it clear #ImWithAEW.
