AEW On Verge Of Bringing In Ex-TNA Champion
AEW boss Tony Khan is set to make another eye-catching signing.
Back in November, it was reported that Mike Bailey had left TNA Wrestling after his contract expired on the first of the month. At the time it was suggested that Bailey could make his debut as part of the Continental Classic, but things weren’t quite that straightforward.
A further report noted that while Bailey had said his goodbyes and was able to negotiate his next move, he was still under contract.
Bailey signed with TNA back in 2021 and went on to become a three-time X Division Champion while cementing his reputation as one of the best wrestlers in North America. But with his time in TNA complete, fans won’t have to wait long to see what comes next.
Mike Bailey On Verge Of AEW Update
According to a new update from Fightful Select, Bailey is “heading to AEW imminently” after becoming a free agent. There is no word on when Bailey might make his debut.
Meanwhile, Jordynne Grace looks set to sign with WWE within weeks as she prepares to finish up with TNA. Grace’s deal ends following Genesis on January 19th where she’ll face Tessa Blanchard who recently made her return to the company.
Many fans have been quick to point out that this would leave Grace free to appear at the 2025 Royal Rumble on February 1st.
