‘Massive Interest’: AEW Looking To Sign Multi-Time IWGP U.S. Champion, Current Bullet Club Member
After Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan offered a contract to former ROH World Champion Bandido, this according to a new report from Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer. Bandido would make his All Elite Wrestling debut in a ROH World Championship match against Chris Jericho, where he would lose.
PWInsider.com has also confirmed Meltzer’s report.
When the match was over and the cameras stopped rolling, Khan was seen jubilantly greeting Bandido, giving him a hug on the entrance stage.
However, AEW isn’t just eyeing Bandido as a fresh talent to sign to their roster.
According to PWInsider.com, the promotion is targeting Juice Robinson and they want to bring him in on a full-time contract where he is made a regular of AEW’s programming. Like Bandido, Robinson would also make his company debut on Wednesday’s Dynamite. He would be booked against the current AEW World Champion, Jon Moxley, taking the loss in a title match.
Juice Robinson is currently active with New Japan Pro Wrestling where he is a part of the Bullet Club stable, however, the terms of his deal with the promotion are not known.
