AEW Grand Slam To Host Binned All Out Match

Following a spate of suspensions in AEW, a scheduled match for All Out that had to be abandoned has now been rescheduled for Grand Slam Rampage.

The upcoming week could be a huge one for All Elite Wrestling after a difficult spell that stretches back to before All Out. While the headlines latterly became about the fight and suspensions dished out to the likes of The Young Bucks, CM Punk, and Kenny Omega, Eddie Kingston previously served a suspension for getting physical with Sammy Guevara backstage.

Their issues came as a result of a promo cut by Guevara that never made air where he referred to Kingston as a “fat piece of sh*t.” Eddie Kingston is said to have pie-faced Guevara in the backstage area afterwards and was suspended for two weeks as a result.

A planned match between the two men at All Out was scrapped with Kingston facing NJPW star Tomohiro Ishii instead on the pre-show with The Spanish God teaming with wife Tay Melo to defend their AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship against Ruby Soho and Ortiz.

Now AEW has announced that Eddie Kingston and Sammy Guevara will finally settle their issues in the ring when the two men face off in New York City at AEW Grand Slam Rampage.
