AEW Fan Comments On MJF Incident At Dynamite

MJF middle finger

One fan took to social media to comment on MJF slapping the glasses off his face on AEW Dynamite.

The opening bout of AEW Dynamite saw Adam Cole challenge Maxwell Jacob Friedman in an AEW World Title eliminator match, where Cole was guaranteed a shot at MJF’s title if he was able to defeat the champion.

The match was full of action and saw Friedman bleed from the mouth following a superkick. The champion nearly secured a victory by countout after delivering a brutal elbow drop to Cole through a table on the outside, but Cole was able to return to the ring just in the nick of time.

At one point in the bout, Friedman went into the crowd to antagonize the fans in attendance, and one particular fan in the front row caught his ire as he leaned in to yell at the champion. MJF swatted at the fan’s hat, but also managed to knock the fan’s glasses off his face during the exchange. The fan has now taken to social media to respond, posting a picture of him giving the middle finger and writing:

“F*ck you, @The_MJF”

Though it looked like he was about to secure a victory in the end, Cole was thwarted by the clock running out as the thirty minute time limit expired, rendering the match a draw. Despite demanding five more minutes, the champion walked away, and it remains to be seen if and when Cole will get another chance to capture AEW gold.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Friedman paid tribute to Vince McMahon with his elbow pad during the match.
