AEW Expected To Announce Signing Of Will Ospreay

It’s been reported that Will Ospreay is set to sign with AEW.

Social media has been on fire in recent days after Tony Khan announced that a major star would be heading to Full Gear to sign their AEW contract. The event is set to take place at the Kia Forum on November 18th.

A whole host of names were brought up by fans including Mercedes Mone, Goldberg, Dolph Ziggler, and Ronda Rousey to name just a few. However, it appears there’s a new front-runner.

As reported by Andrew Zarian on the Mat Men Podcast, Will Ospreay will be unveiled as AEW’s newest signing. Ospreay is under contract with New Japan Pro-Wrestling until February 2024, however, it appears that an agreement has been reached.

“I was told Will Ospreay. That is a big deal. Huge deal because WWE was actively pursuing him.”

Will Ospreay Wants To Compete In TNA Wrestling

The news comes after Will Ospreay expressed his desire to compete in TNA. The British star made the comments after overcoming Josh Alexander during his latest stop in IMPACT. After the match, Ospreay said he wants to return to the promotion when it returns its former TNA name in January 2024.
