AEW Exit Imminent For WWE Hall Of Famer

Tony Khan AEW

One WWE Hall of Famer is on their way out of AEW when their contract expires at the end of May after spending 5 years with the company.

WWE Champion Cody Rhodes’ time in AEW will be remembered for a lot of things. But for long-time wrestling fans perhaps nothing was sweeter about Rhodes’ AEW run than getting to see Four Horseman Arn Anderson back on TV every week as he was Rhodes’ personal coach in the company.

Cody Rhodes returned to WWE in 2022 and now it’s been confirmed that Arn Anderson is on his way out of AEW as well.

Speaking on his ARN podcast, Arn Anderson confirmed that his time in AEW will come to an end when his contract expires on May 31st and that he was intent on spending his time with his son Brock who himself has not been seen in AEW since August 2023:

The limited time that I have left I want to spend with Brock, because I think Brock has aptitude and attitude and I think he will be a big player for somebody. I just got to get him some experience and that’s where I’m gonna devote my time…and if he comes along like I think and hope he will, it will be sooner than later. So I just wanted to say thank you to Tony.

I just want to say thank you. I appreciate everything. And that goes to everybody that works there. All my friends, Tony Schiavone, JR, all those guys, all the talent. Dean [Malenko], Billy Gunn, all that crew. Jerry [Lynn], everybody was great. So I just want to say thank you, and see you down the road.

Arn Anderson Suffers Huge Personal Loss During AEW Run

As well as being by the side of his son Brock during his time in AEW as well, Anderson suffered a huge tragedy during his time in the company.

In March 2023, Arn Anderson revealed that his other son Barrett had tragically passed away aged just 37.
