AEW Dynasty 2025 PPV Results
The AEW Dynasty PPV is headlined by Jon Moxley defending the AEW World Title against Swerve Strickland.
It’s the second-ever AEW Dynasty PPV and the second AEW PPV this year following Revolution in March. This year’s show took place at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia. There were ten matches set for the main PPV show.
As mentioned above, the AEW World Title match will see Jon Moxley defend the AEW World Title against a former World Champion, Swerve Strickland. Toni Storm will defend the Women’s World Title against Megan Bayne, Kenny Omega puts the International Title on the line against Mike Bailey & Ricochet, plus The Hurt Syndicate defending Tag Team Titles against Big Bill & Bryan Keith, Chris Jericho putting the ROH World Title on the line against Bandido, and plenty more.
There was a 90-minute pre-show featuring Renee Paquette, Jeff Jarrett, and RJ City talking about the show. Here are the pre-show match results.
* Nick Wayne (w/Mother Wayne & Kip Sabian) and CRU – Action Andretti & Lio Rush defeated AR Fox and Top Flight – Dante Martin & Darius Martin (w/Leila Grey) by pinfall. While the referee was looking at action on the floor, Mother Wayne shoved AR Fox off the top rope. Nick Wayne hit Wayne’s World for the win for his team.
* Anthony Bowens (w/Billy Gunn) defeated Max Caster by pinfall in under one minute. Bowens and Caster were known as The Acclaimed together. Bowens won with a rolling elbow to the jaw. It was Caster’s open challenge.
AEW Dynasty Main PPV Results
The commentary team was Excalibur, Jim Ross & Taz to start the show.
Match #1:Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Quarterfinals: Will Ospreay defeated Kevin Knight by pinfall. Knight came close to winning a few times. Will hit the Styles Clash, Oscutter and Hidden Blade elbow for the win. After the match, Will shook hands with Knight, and they hugged. The fans cheered.
Will Ospreay will face the winner of the Brody King-Konosuke Takeshita match in the Men’s Owen Hart Cup semifinals.
Tony Schiavone joined the commentary team with Excalibur and Taz starting with the next match.
Match #2:AEW World Tag Team Championships: The Hurt Syndicate – Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin (w/MVP) defeated Big Bill & Bryan Keith by pinfall. While MVP was arguing with the referee, MJF appeared in the crowd and punched Big Bill while MJF had the Dynamite Diamond Ring on his right hand. Shelton hit a German Suplex on Keith, Lashley hit a Spear on Keith and Shelton covered Keith to win.
Match #3: Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Quarterfinals: Mercedes Mone defeated Julia Hart by pinfall. There were nearfalls for both women during the match. Mone had Hart in the Statement Maker, Hart got out of it, Hart got a nearfall, and Mone hooked the arms for the pinfall win.
After the match, the ROH Women’s Champion Athena was shown watching on a TV because she could face Mone in the semifinals. Athena faces Harley Cameron in the quarterfinals.
It was Nigel McGuinness on commentary, joining Excalibur & Tony Schiavone, so Taz was out for now.
Match #4:AEW Trios Tag Team Championships: Death Riders – Claudio Castagnoli, Pac & Wheeler Yuta defeated Rated FTR – Cope, Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler by pinfall. Cash gave Pac a suplex over the top to the floor. Cope hit a Spear on Claudio the floor. Cope went back into the ring, charged at Yuta for a Spear, Yuta moved and Cope stopped himself from hitting Dax. Yuta shoved Cope into Dax so Dax sold that and Yuta hit a Busaiko Knee on Dax for the pinfall win.
After the match, the Death Riders guys left the ring and went into the back of the arena with their titles. Cope and Cash picked up Dax after the match. Rated FTR posed together in the ring, but Dax grabbed Cope and Dax gave Cope a piledriver. Dax brought two chairs into the ring. Dax wanted Cash to join him in giving Cope a Conchairto, but Cash refused it. Dax and Cash hit the Shatter Machine on Cope! Dax and Cash hit a spike piledriver on Cope onto a steel chair. Cope’s head was placed onto a steel chair, so Cash smashed the chair for a Conchairto on Cope! The fans booed loudly. Dr. Sampson finally went into the ring to try to stop FTR, but Cash hit another Conchairto on Cope’s head. The medical staff came out to the ring, so FTR tossed the stretcher over and left to boos.
Cope was put on a board and taken away on a stretcher. Excalibur called FTR “a**holes” for what they did.

Match #5:AEW Women’s World Championship: Toni Storm defeated Megan Bayne by pinfall. Storm hit Storm Zero for just a one count because Bayne kicked out. Bayne dominated Storm and hit a Powerbomb. Bayne wanted to hit Fate’s Descent, but Storm did an inside cradle for the pinfall win.
Match #6:Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Quarterfinals: Kyle Fletcher defeated Mark Briscoe by pinfall. Fletcher won with a Turnbuckle Brainbuster for the pin.
Kyle Fletcher will face the winner of the Adam Page/WIld Card match winner in the semifinals.
Match #7: ROH World Championship: Bandido defeated Chris Jericho by pinfall to win the ROH World Title. When Bryan Keith tried to interfere to help Jericho, he was stopped by Bandido’s brother Gravity. The referee was distracted, so Jericho hit Bandido with a baseball bat to get the win. After the fall, Bandido’s family pointed out the baseball bat usage by Jericho, so the referee restarted the match. Bandido hit the 21 Plex and pinned Jericho to win the title.
After the match, Bandido celebrated with the ROH World Title and with his family.
Match #8:TNT Championship:Adam Cole defeated Daniel Garcia to win the TNT Championship. Garcia was frustrated that he couldn’t beat Cole. Garcia tried a top rope piledriver, but Cole fought out of it and hit a Panama Sunrise. Cole hit a second Panama Sunrise. Cole hit a running Boom knee to the head for the pinfall win.
Adam Cole celebrated with the TNT Title. It is Cole’s first singles championship in his AEW career. Cole and Garcia shook hands after the match.
Tony Schiavone rejoined commentary with Excalibur and Taz.
Match #9:AEW International Championship: Kenny Omega defeated Ricochet and “Speedball” Mike Bailey by pinfall. It was an exciting and fast-paced match with a lot of nearfalls. Omega hit a One Winged Angel on Bailey to retain the title.
Kazuchika Okada arrived with the AEW Continental Championship. Okada got in the ring and had a staredown with Omega to tease a future match. Omega left the ring with his title.

The AEW World Title was on the line in the main event.
Match # 10:AEW World Championship:Jon Moxley defeated Swerve Strickland to retain the AEW World Title by pinfall. Moxley threw a chair at Swerve, who moved and the chair hit referee Paul Turner, who bumped to the floor. “Hangman” Adam Page went to ringside, so Moxley’s Death Riders arrived at ringside. Page cleared the ring. Page hit Moxley with the Deadeye. The Opps group of Samoa Joe, Hook & Katsuyori Shibata went to ringside so they fought with Claudio, Pac, and Yuta to the back. Swerve hit the Swerve Stomp off the top on Moxley. The lights went out in the arena. The Young Bucks were in the ring, held Swerve’s arms, and The Bucks hit the BTE Trigger double knee strike on Swerve. The Bucks were booed loudly. The Bucks left the ring, referee Paul Turner recovered, and Moxley covered Swerve for the three count to win the match.
They showed the Young Bucks after the match while the announcers wondered why they did what they did. They showed Moxley after the match, still the AEW World Champion. Swerve Strickland and Adam Page were shown as well. That was the end of the show.
AEW Dynasty had a run time of 4 hours, 24 minutes for the main show.
