AEW Dynamite Return For Ricochet’s Next Opponent
Ricochet will be in action on AEW Dynamite as he faces one star who has not been seen on Wednesday nights in eight months.
Ricochet made his shock debut in AEW at All In as part of the Casino Gauntlet Match won by Christian Cage. While Cage has his sights set on the AEW World Championship as evidenced by his actions at All Out, Ricochet has his eyes fixed on another champion in the company.
At All Out Will Ospreay continued his reign as AEW International Champion as he defeated PAC in a show-stealing (murders aside) match. Afterwards, Ospreay noted that he knew Ricochet was watching and the two former rivals from their junior heavyweight days in NJPW had a heated exchange. Ospreay told Ricochet to start racking up the wins so he could claim a shot at his title and now it seems the former WWE star is looking to do just that.
AEW Confirms Ricochet vs. Sammy Guevara
AEW boss Tony Khan has confirmed that Ricochet will compete in his third match in the company on the 11th of September edition of Dynamite where he will face current ROH Tag Team Champion Sammy Guevara. Guevara has not competed on Dynamite since he defeated Ricky Starks on the 10th of January 2024.
