AEW has gone abroad to spread the holiday spirit to its fans tonight, as the Holiday Bash special of Dynamite takes place in Manchester, England. The three-hour special will be emanating live from the Co-op Live arena.

The fans are in for a special episode tonight as the card is packed with some of the most exciting matches, including a world title defense and the contract signing for the AEW World Championship match at World’s End.

FTR are set to defend their World Tag Team Championships after Stokely issued a challenge to the Bang Bang Gang on last week’s episode, while the episode is set to feature the Dyanmite Diamond Battle Royale.

The continental classic will also continue tonight, while the episode also marks the in-ring reunion of the first-ever AEW World Trios Champions, The Elite.

Jon Moxley vs Roderick Strong opens the show

The Holiday Bash special of Dynamite kicked off with the Continental Classic Blue League match between Jon Moxley and Roderick Strong. There is a strong history between these two wrestlers as they have crossed paths on many occasions in the past.

A hard-hitting start to the match saw both wrestlers deliver vicious blows to each other, as it was a huge match for both of them. The loser between the two would be eliminated from the tournament, and both of them gave it their all.

Strong was leaving no stone unturned and dealt a lot of damage to the leader of the Death Riders, including slamming him onto the steel steps, before hitting him with a Superplex.

Moxley came back into the match with a cutter and a piledriver, but could only get a two count as the match hit the 15-minute mark. He would eventually get the win after hitting Roddy, who had just kicked out of the Paradigm Shift, with a Death Rider to end Strong’s run in the tournament.

The Elite take on the Don Callis Family for a million dollars

The Elite have been butting heads with the Don Callis Family since The Young Bucks turned face at Full Gear last month, following which the match between the two factions was made official for tonight.

The Elite started the match on the front foot as they combined well together, as tensions between Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita affected their teamwork in the match, which The Elite were wrestling like they’ve been teaming together every week.

They were in complete control of the match as all of Kenny Omega, Nick, and Matt Jackson took out Okada, Takeshita, and Hechicero with a suicide dive. However, after coming back from the commercial, something had changed, and the Don Callis Family was the one in control.

The fans were then treated to a little one-on-one action between Omega and Okada for the first time since the match for the AEW Unified Championship at All In: Texas, before all six members took out each other.

Tensions crept in between Okada and Takeshita once again which led to the finish of the match. Omega cleared the field as he hit snap dragon suplexs on all members of the opposition before hitting Hechicero with a V-trigger and followed it up with an assited one-winged angel to win the match.

Kenny Omega chased off the Don Callis Family

Following his team’s loss, Don Callis tried to run away with the bag of money that The Elite had just won, which distracted them and allowed Takeshita and Okada to jump the trio.

They took Kenny out of the ring before hitting their finishers on the Bucks in an attempt to one up each other. This altercation led to Don Callis trying to defuse the tension, allowing Kenny to make the save as he entered the ring with a broom in his hand, causing the Don Callis Family to retreat.

AEW World Championship contract signing is up next

Tony Schiavone was in the ring to mediate the contract signing between Samoa Joe, Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland. All three men made their individual claims on who would emerge victorious at Worlds End later this month.

Swerve stated that there is mutual respect between him and Page after everything they’ve been through, but doesn’t hold the same feeling towards Joe, and came back to challenge the AEW World Champion, regardless of who was holding the belt.

Hangman Page called out the current champion, stating that he’s become just like the Death Riders, the very group The Opps went to war against a few months back, before siging the contract and making the match official.

MJF makes a huge return in Manchester, England!!

Just when Schiavone was about to confirm the match, the lights went out and out came former World Champion, MJF, much to the surprise of everyone, as he made his return to the promotion for the first time since All Out 2025.

He cashed in his World Championship contract in the ring, making the Worlds End match a four-way now. The match will now see four former World Champions compete against one another.

He claimed that he would go on to end Samoa Joe’s title reign at Worlds End just like Joe ended his, before turning his attention to Swerve Strickland. He even name dropped WWE and former WWE wrestler Top Dolla during his promo while referencing Swerve’s past in the company.

Massive eight-woman tag team match is up next

Following the conclusion of the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament last week, both finalists, Babes of Wrath and the Timeless Love Bombs teammed together to take on Megan Bayne, Marina Shafir, Mercedes Mone, and Athena.

All eight women were putting on an exciting match for the fans in attendance with the faces dealing most of the damage in the match. While the match erupted in chaos with everyone taking the other out, it seemed like Willow Nightingale would earn the win for her side.

She cleared the field after taking out everyone outside with a cannonball attack before dragging Mercedes back in the ring to finish the match. However, before she could get any more offense in, Athena hit her with the O-face which allowed Mone to score the pin for her team.

Pac takes on Kyle Fletcher in the Continental Classic tournament

The two men made a name for themselves in the professional wrestling business in the UK and had a lot of support from the Manchester crowd. They both wrestled an incredibly hard-fought contest that pushed both of them to their limit.

Neither men left any stone unturned during the match as they looked to gain vital three points tonight. Pac had the upper hand for most of the match, but Fletcher showed incredible resilience to kick out of everything that Pac threw at him.

Pac trapped him in two consecutive brutalizer subbmission manuevers but he just managed to get to the ropes on both attempts. Fletcher found a second wind following Pac’s offense and almost got the win after he hit a brainbuster on Pac, but he kicked out just before the referee hit three.

Fletcher ultimately fell short after he tried to hit a brainbuster from the top turnbuckle. Pac reversed it into a reverse Hurricurana from the spot and followed that up with a Black Arrow to seal a win for himself infront of his home crowd.

Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale gets the fans on their feet

The annual Dynamite Diamon Battle Royale was up next with multiple tag teams filling the field with the likes of The Demand, Brodido, and members of the Don Callis Family all part of the match.

Max Caster was the first person to be eliminated from the match, followed by Ace Austin as only 10 wrestlers remained in the match. Anthony Bowens was the next wrestler eliminated as the match cut for a commercial.

Next to be eliminated were all the big men present in the match as Luchasaurus, Shelton Benjamin, and Mark Davis were all eliminated one after the other.

Brodido then combined together to toss Josh Alexander above the top rope as only five wrestlers remained in the match. The Battle Royale had now become a 3v2 as The Demand and Brodido were the only ones remaining.

Brody King then sacrificed himself to take out Toa Liona before Bandido eliminated Bishop Kaun, leaving him with Ricochet as the co-winners of the Battle Royale, and setting up a match for themselves for next week.

Continental Classic continues with Orange Cassidy vs Mascara Dorada

Dorada and Cassidy wrestled an extremely entertaining match for the fans after they’d witnessed several hard-hitting matches throughout the night. Some incredible high-flying and atheletic action was on offer between the two wrestlers.

Dorada took control of the match after being sent outisde by Cassidy. He stopped Orange’s attempt at a suicide dive, before hitting him with one of his own. He then targeted Orange’s injured back after hitting a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on him which got him the advantage in the match.

Just when Cassidy was getting back in the match, Masraca hit him with another backbreaker to gain control. The two then exchanged numerous moves with each other, as they looked to reverse everything that the other threw at them.

The spoils went the way of the Freshly Squeezed after he reversed Dorada’s attempt at an armdrag and utilized the momentum to trap him in a surprise pin to win the match and move to 6 points, level on points with Moxley.

Jamie Hayter wrestles infront of home crowd

Former AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter has a huge championship match ahead of her at Worlds End, but before facing Kris Statlander, she was in action infront of her home fans tonight.

The English wrestler took on Isla Dawn in Manchester tonight, and it seemed like a routine win for the former Women’s Championship, but Dawn was dominating the bulk of the match, surprising even the commentary team.

Hayter was on the backfoot for most of the match but ultimately showed why she’s the number one contender as she ended the match in the blink of an eye as she hit the Hayterade to win the match.

Kris Statlander saves Jamie Hayter from a beatdown

Following her win over Dawn, both Hayter and Dawn shared a moment of respect with each other before they were jumped by the Triangle of Madness. They attacked both of them before ganging up on Hayter.

Jamie Hayter was being assaulted by Sky Blue, Julia Hart, and Thekla before her World’s End opponent, Kris Statlander made the save tonight. They tried to work together to take out the rest of the group after she had hit a piledriver on Skye Blue.

However, things didn’t work out the way they expected as Hayter inadvertently hit Statlander with the Hayterade, but she didn’t seem too beat up about it. She just held up the Women’s Championship infront of her home crowd before heading out.

AEW World Tag Team Championship to be defended in the main event

The Bang Bang Gang started the match on the front foot as they dominated FTR for the most of the starting stages of the match. Stokely tried to help FTR out of different occasions but the Bang Bang Gang found a way to come back on top.

Howeve, after we came back from the commerical break, FTR were suddenly in control of the match and had slowed down the pace to how they liked to wrestle their matches. They had isolated Austin Gunn for long but once Juice Robinson came back in the match, he turned the tide to his side’s favor.

He hit spinebusters on both FTR members for a two-count, before earning yet another near-fall via a surprise roll up. Juice then took out Stokely and Cash after making them collide in one another just when Stokely tried to hit him with a powder to the face.

The Bang Bang Gang had seemingly won the match after pinning Dax for a three count but he had his foot on the rope which led to the referee waving off the pin. Amid the confusion, FTR attacked Juice Robinson’s knee and damaged it more before putting him in a submission to retain their titles.
