AEW Dynamite To Go Head To Head With WWE NXT

AEW has announced that Dynamite will go head to head with NXT for the first time in 2024.

Tony Khan’s organisation will present a special edition of its flagship programme, entitled Dynamite: Title Tuesday, on 8th October in Spokane Washington. The show will serve as the go-home show ahead of WrestleDream 2024.

In what has now become an annual move, AEW will shift to Wednesday evening due to MLB Baseball Play-Off coverage taking place on TBS during the company’s regular time slot.

WWE has fared well in recent head to head outings, although the company has parachuted in major main roster names such as Cody Rhodes and The Undertaker in an attempt to secure viewers.

AEW Announce Return Of WWE Hall Of Famer

AEW have announced that WWE Hall Of Fame legend Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat will make his return on the 7th August edition of Dynamite.

The former WWE Intercontinental Champion will be ringside for the bout between Jeff Jarrett and Bryan Danielson in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Danielson is preparing to battle Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship at All In on 25th August. ‘The American Dragon’ recently upped the ante by announcing that he would retire from in-ring competition if he could not dethrone Strickland at the huge event, set to emanate from London’s Wembley Stadium.
