Final Participants Announced For Blood & Guts Match On AEW Dynamite
The final participants were announced for the Blood & Guts match coming up on AEW Dynamite.
All Elite Wrestling will present their third Blood & Guts match next Wednesday, July 19th on AEW Dynamite in Boston.
Going into AEW Dynamite in Saskatoon, we know that one of the teams would feature the Blackpool Combat Club while The Elite were the other team.
In the main event of Dynamite, Don Callis represented the Blackpool Combat Club and did a promo trashing on Kenny Omega as usual. That brought out Jon Moxley and Konosuke Takeshita of the BCC team to attack Omega. Pac showed up with a steel chair on Omega as well.
That led to Pac announcing that he would join the BCC team at Blood & Guts, so it’s Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Konosuke Takeshita and Pac.
When it looked like Kenny Omega might take a severe beating from the BCC guys, he cued up a video package to announce The Elite’s partner in the Blood & Guts match.
The video aired and revealed it would be Kota Ibushi, formerly of NJPW, to join Kenny Omega, “Hangman” Adam Page and The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) to form The Golden Elite. It will be Ibushi’s highly anticipated AEW debut match.
Originally, the plan for the match was to have Bryan Danielson on the BCC team, but he’s injured with a broken bone in his arm. Eddie Kingston was possibly going to be on The Elite’s team, but he’ll be in Japan competing in the NJPW G1 Climax tournament for the first time.
After The Elite cleared the ring of the BCC guys, Kenny Omega did a promo about how after The Golden Elite takes out the five BCC, Omega wants to fight his former manager/mentor Don Callis.
