AEW Announces First-Ever Dynamite & Collision Taping On Same Night
There will be a big night of AEW action in August as the company plans to have the first-ever Dynamite & Collision double taping.
The month of August will be a big one for All Elite Wrestling because of the All In event taking place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, August 27th in front of 75,000+ fans. It is easily the biggest event in company history as they make their debut in England in front of what should be a raucous crowd.
In anticipation of what should be a very busy week for AEW setting up for All In, the company announced that on Wednesday, August 23rd they will tape Dynamite and Collision on the same night. It’s the first time they have ever done that since Collision premiered on Saturday nights on June 17th.
It will be the Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia that plays host to Dynamite and a taped episode of Collision, AEW announced on Monday.
Considering both shows are two hours long with Dynamite likely airing live that night, Collision will probably start right around 10 p.m. ET and run for nearly two hours or perhaps less if AEW wants to edit in backstage segments later.
In a normal week, AEW usually goes live with Dynamite on Wednesday followed by a Rampage taping that airs on Friday. Meanwhile, Collision is usually live on Saturdays followed by a Ring of Honor taping that airs the following Thursday. AEW will likely have to tape content ahead for Rampage and ROH as well.
