A former WWE tag team is talking to AEW about possibly joining the company and perhaps being part of a specific show.

The team of Mace & Mansoor were released by WWE in September 2023 at a time when the company cut several notable names. The duo were wrestling as the Maximum Male Models for a few years. Mace worked for WWE for about seven years while Mansoor had a five-year run with the company.

Since departing WWE, Mace & Mansoor have wrestled using the tag team name of MxM at various independent wrestling promotions around the world. Mace has been using the ring name of Mason D. Madden since departing WWE.

It has been reported by Fightful Select that MxM could be headed to All Elite Wrestling. Madden & Mansoor were backstage at a recent AEW Collision taping and they were not used there. Mansoor was also at the Los Angeles episode of AEW Dynamite. According to Fightful, MxM has been talking to AEW/ROH in recent weeks.

Madden & Mansoor Could Be Part Of AEW’s Ring Of Honor Brand

It was mentioned by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp that while it’s not a definite thing, MxM has been talked about appearing for the Ring of Honor brand that is owned by All Elite Wrestling’s Owner Tony Khan.

While there’s no confirmation about MxM signing a deal with All Elite Wrestling/Ring of Honor yet, there were apparently “some materials prepared” if they do sign a deal to appear on the ROH brand.

The Ring of Honor brand airs on the ROH website and their shows are taped usually before AEW Collision episodes.
