AEW Couple’s Relationship Sparked By Unexpected Elevator Moment

It was Aerosmith who sang “Love In An Elevator”, but which AEW couple were living it up when they were going down?

Love is in the air in All Elite Wrestling with plenty of happy couples on Tony Khan’s roster. Mercedes Mone recently revealed her relationship with a fellow AEW star while the likes of Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo, Taya Valkyrie and Johnny TV, and Roderick Strong and Marina Shafir share a life together away from the ring.

Now, Skye Blue has revealed how her relationship with The Don Callis Family’s Protostar, Kyle Fletcher, was born after an unexpected encounter in an elevator when Fletcher was perhaps not feeling his best.

Skye Blue Met AEW Love In An Elevator

Speaking on The Stunner, Skye Blue explained her first encounter with Fletcher came after his chest had been chopped to shreds in a match:

Yeah, we met—I think the very first one was when we did the Dark tapings in Orlando. I was in an elevator with Billy Starkz and Kyle, and Kyle was shirtless, and—uh, this is so bad—he had just gotten chopped a million times and he’s very pale. So his chest was just red and purple handprints.

And me and Billy were… and Billy just goes and she’s like, about to whack him, and I was like, ‘No, don’t do that, that’s mean.’ And that was our first interaction—and now we have a house together. But yeah, like, oh, now I can just chop you whenever I want. It’s a pro wrestling love story.
