AEW Confirms Return Of Blood & Guts
Blood & Guts is set for a return to AEW as the issues between The Blackpool Combat Club and The Elite look set to carry on.
Blood & Guts has been a staple of AEW since the first match of its kind took place in the company back in May 2021. AEW’s take on a WarGames match was originally set to debut in the spring of 2020 but the COVID pandemic put paid to those plans with the first match of its kind taking place in 2021 when The Pinnacle led by MJF defeated Chris Jericho’s Inner Circle.
The brutal match returned in June 2022 with Chris Jericho now leading his Jericho Appreciation Society into war with the Blackpool Combat Club, Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz. Claudio Castagnoli picked up the win for his side when he caused Matt Menard to submit on top of the cage.
