AEW Confirms Huge New Signing
AEW has secured the signature of another high-profile free agent.
Back in November, it was reported that Mike Bailey had left TNA Wrestling after his contract expired on the first of the month. However, a follow-up noted that while had finished up with the company, he technically remained under contract until the end of 2024.
Bailey signed with TNA back in 2021 and went on to become a three-time X Division Champion while cementing his reputation as one of the best wrestlers in North America.
From the moment the news broke about his impending free agency, Bailey had been tipped to arrive in AEW, but as the weeks passed there continued to be little movement.
That is, until now.
Mike Bailey Is Coming To AEW
Confirmation of Bailey’s arrival finally came during the February 22 edition of Collision when a vignette aired featuring the star in action. The short clip ended with the message “Speedball Mike Bailey is coming.”
AEW boss Tony Khan quickly posted on social media after the video aired sharing the same message.
Speedball Mike Bailey is coming soon to AEW!

According to a report from Fightful Select, Bailey has signed a “multi-year” deal, despite interest from WWE. Although the former TNA star was free to sign elsewhere from January 1, his All Elite debut was delayed due to visa issues. However, these are now all but resolved.
