AEW Collision Taping Canceled
AEW is making some changes.
The Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio has announced AEW will not be holding the December 7th episode of Collision at the venue as previously advertised. There’s been no official comment on whether it was the promotion or the venue who canceled the booking or why it was dropped.
The arena has hosted several wrestling events in the past, with WWE Money In The Bank, King of The Ring, and Extreme Rules among the PLEs to come live from the venue.
In a follow up report, Sean Ross Sapp noted via Fightful Select that AEW still plans to run Collision in Columbus around that date. The company had been working on a venue change as an “interesting opportunity had come up.”
An announcement from AEW is expected soon, but it was noted that the Nationwide Arena was supposed to delay new of the cancelation until these new plans were confirmed.
More Matches Confirmed For AEW Full Gear
During the November 13th episode of Dynamite, two more matches were made official for Full Gear.
On the show, Roderick Strong beat Lance Archer in a Falls Count Anywhere Match to earn a spot across the ring from MJF at the pay-per-view. Strong and Adam Cole had been pitched against each other with the first man to three wins getting a match with MJF. While Strong grabbed this third win, Cole lost to Knonosuke Takeshita.
Meanwhile, it was confirmed that Will Ospreay will go one one-on-one with Kyle Fletcher after a heated exchange on Dynamite.
