AEW Collision Spoilers Featuring Continental Classic

AEW Collision will not air live on the 9th of December and was instead taped on the 5th of the month at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Two matches from the Blue League of the Continental Classic aired on the show with Eddie Kingston facing his hated rival Claudio Castagnoli and Bryan Danielson again facing the man he broke his orbital bone against, Andrade El Idolo.

Kenny Omega was in action as well in an all-Canadian affair as he took on Ethan Page while Willow Nightingale faced off with Mercedes Martinez.

Who Picked Up Points In The AEW Continental Classic?

  • Continental Classic Blue League – Eddie Kingston defeated Claudio Castagnoli to pick up his first points in the tournament.
  • Kenny Omega defeated Ethan Page with a One-Winged Angel. Both men showed respect to each other after the bout but Omega was then attacked by AEW Tag Team Champion Big Bill.
  • Wardlow defeated Willie Mack by referee stoppage. A somewhat competitive match was brought to a decisive end when Wardlow nailed Mack with a powerbomb. Wardlow left before the referee even called the match off as he knew he’d won.
  • Willow Nightingale defeated Mercedes Martinez in a singles match. After the bout, Nightingale was attacked by Martinez and Diamante but Kris Statlander made the save.
  • Penta El Zero M and Komander defeated Angelo Parker and Matt Menard in a tag team match.
  • Andrade El Idolo defeated Bryan Danielson in the Continental Classic Blue League with a Hammerlock DDT. Danielson was bleeding from above the eye at the end of the bout.
