AEW Collision Maximum Carnage Spoilers

AEW stayed in Cincinnati for Collision.

On January 15th, AEW headed to Cincinnati for Dynamite Maximum Carnage. In the main event, Jon Moxley defeated Powerhouse Hobbs to retain the World Championship after Samoa Joe made his AEW return earlier in the show.

Elsewhere, Toni Storm won the first-ever Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match to become the number one contender for the Women’s Championship. Storm will now go on to challenge Mariah May at Dynamite Grand Gland Slam: Australia in February. The match also saw the return of Megan Bayne who hadn’t wrestled for the company since 2023.

After Dynamite, the company stayed in Cincinnati for Collision which was taped on January 16th. The episode will air on January 18th.

AEW Collision Spoilers

Collision was headlined by a huge 12-man tag team match between Cope, Powerhouse Hobbs, FTR & The Outrunners, and The Death Riders and The Learning Tree. The likes of Kazuchika Okada and Julia Hart were also in action, while Hangman Adam Page clashed with Christopher Daniels in a Texas Death Match.

It was noted that there were a few more empty seats in the venue than for Dynamite 24 hours earlier, but it was mostly full.

• Backstage pre-tape – Powerhouse Hobbs says he’s got a bad leg but will still kick ass.
• Hangman Adam Page def Christopher Daniels (Texas Death Match) Page dominated much of the match as Daniels bled heavily. After the match, Page came back to the ring and hit Angel’s Wings on Daniels.
• Toni Storm Promo. Star says she’s going to introduce herself to Mariah May on Dynamite.
• Hurt Syndicate promo. The group will challenge Private Party for the AEW World Tag Team Titles.
• Undisputed Kingdom def Shane Taylor Promotions.
• Will Ospreay promo. British star says he’s going to call out Kenny Omega on Dynamite.
• Lance Archer & Brian Cage def Top Flight.
• Learning Tree Promo. Chris Jericho talks about the trust between the Learning Tree and the Death Riders.
• The Acclaimed segment. Anthony Bowens breaks up the team and leaves with Billy Gunn.
• Kazuchika Okada def Tomohiro Ishii (Continental Championship) Okada won after low blow and the Rainmaker.
• Dustin Rhodes def Adam Priest.
• Julia Hart def Harley Cameron.
• Chris Jericho attacks Powerhouse Hobbs backstage.
• Cope, FTR, The Outrunners & Powerhouse Hobbs def The Learning Tree & The Death Riders. Hobbs missed the first part of the match, and the Death Riders tried to kidnap Cope but Cash stepped in. Hobbs returned near the end to pin Brian Keith after a clothesline and spinebuster.
