AEW Collision Gets New TV Home In Canada

Tony Khan AEW

Wrestling fans in Canada will have a new way to watch Saturday Night AEW Collision.

When AEW launched Dynamite in October 2019, it aired on TNT in the US and was later moved to TBS, which are both part of the Warner Brothers Discovery family of networks. In Canada, Dynamite has aired on TSN2 for most of its five-year run.

When AEW Collision launched on Saturday nights in June 2023, it was put on TNT in the US. However, in Canada, it has been a different story.

Canadian wrestling fans have had to subscribe to TSN+ to watch the company’s second-biggest show. That’s because TSN chose to put it on a separate subscription service rather than airing it on one of their five television channels. The same goes for Rampage, which is about to end its run at the end of the year.

AEW Collision Moving To USA Network In Canada

It was announced this week by Bell Media in Canada, which owns the CTV Network, TSN and other channels, that USA Network is coming to Canada. While it’s not the same as USA Network in the US, some shows from there will now be available in Canada. The USA Network launch in Canada was announced in a press release by Bell Media:

TORONTO (December 16, 2024) – On January 1, Bell Media’s Discovery channel rebrands as USA Network in Canada, continuing as the home for many of its existing great series, and hosting a dynamic lineup of gripping dramas, thrilling reality competition series, fan-favourite Canadian originals, bold docuseries, blockbuster movies, and sports.

Bell Media recently secured a major content and licensing agreement with NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution that brings the USA Network and Oxygen True Crime brands to Canada. Additionally, USA Network is available to Canadians via a nationwide free preview, from Jan. 1 – Feb. 28, through participating service providers across the country.

Regarding AEW specifically, the press release said this:

Founded by CEO, GM and Head of Creative Tony Khan in 2019, AEW (All Elite Wrestling) is a red-hot professional wrestling promotion featuring a world-class roster that is injecting new spirit, freshness and energy into the industry.

Airing on Saturday nights, AEW COLLISION is a two-hour program that features some of the biggest names in professional wrestling, compelling storylines, and incredible in-ring action that super-serves AEW’s passionate fanbase.

Additionally, fans can continue to catch AEW DYNAMITE Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on TSN, TSN.ca, and the TSN app.

Tony Khan and AEW will present the AEW Worlds End PPV on December 28th as their final PPV of the year.
