AEW Collaborator Splits From Company After 6 Years

Tony Khan AEW

One person who has worked with AEW since the company was founded in 2019 has revealed they’ve now gone their separate ways.

AEW was formed in 2019, with the company holding its first show in May of that year with Double Or Nothing. Over the following six years, plenty of talent have come and gone from Tony Khan’s company, but there is now one name who worked with the company in a major way no longer connected with AEW.

If AEW fans know one thing about Tony Khan, it’s that he loves title belts, and Khan has spared no expense in producing seemingly countless belts for his promotion. Many of these belts were produced courtesy of Ron Edwardsen of Red Leather Belts, but that won’t be the case moving forward.

AEW Relationship With Red Leather Belts Ends

Taking to social media, Edwardsen revealed his working relationship with AEW was now over but offered no explanation as to why:

After 6 years with AEW it’s time to say goodbye. Thank you for the opportunity!

One of Edwardsen’s last creations for AEW was the brand new Unified Championship, won by Kazuchika Okada at All In Texas, where he defeated his old rival Kenny Omega.
