No Return Timeline For Former AEW Champion

A former champion is away from AEW these days and there is no return timeline in place.

During her AEW career, Jade Cargill has been one of the most successful wrestlers in AEW. After all, she has a record of 60-1.

In addition to having an undefeated record for nearly two years, Cargill also has the longest title reign in AEW history. Jade held the women’s TBS Title from January 5th, 2022 until Double or Nothing 2023. Cargill’s reign as TBS Champion lasted 508 days.

At Double or Nothing, Cargill had a tough test against Taya Valkyre, who nearly won the TBS Title. However, Cargill managed to win and then have another match right after.

That’s when Kris Statlander made her highly anticipated to the ring, challenged Cargill and left with the TBS Title.

Since losing the TBS Title, Cargill has been off television. She recently sent out a bunch of tweets noting how happy she was outside the “wrestling bubble” and having faun away from the ring.

As for her wrestling future, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter wrote that there’s no timeline for when Cargill might retun.

There is also no time line on a return of Jade Cargill. Cargill dropped the TBS title to Kris Statlander at Double or Nothing and hasn’t been back since nor talked about much. When asked on Twitter if she would be coming back soon, the answer was “No.” She posted some photos later of her being in Hollywood and wrote, “Outside of the wrestling bubble is nice. I might stay.”

It is worth pointing out that sometimes in situations like this it could be a case of the company and the wrestler knowing when the comeback is coming, but it may be known yet by people that cover the business.
