AEW Beats TNA To Sign Big Name Free Agent
It looks like AEW has beaten out TNA to snap up a free agent who’s been causing a sensation around the world.
Tony Khan has never been shy in aggressively building his roster in AEW. Khan has brought in former WWE megastars such as Chris Jericho, CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Mercedes Mone, and Adam Copeland, as well as top talent from NJPW such as Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay, and Kazuchika Okada.
Sprinkled into his roster are standouts from the independent scene, such as Eddie Kingston, Mike Bailey, and Brody King. And now one more name has been added to that list.
AEW Beat TNA To Land Lena Kross
Fightful Select has now reported that AEW has landed the signing of a big-name indie star and has beaten out TNA to their signature.
A previous report noted how TNA was hopeful of signing Lena Kross, and they brought the Australian star for a tag team match in July. However, just one week later, Kross was in an AEW ring, losing to Kris Statlander on Collision. In September, she also competed in a dark match for Tony Khan’s Ring of Honor.
The word doing the rounds is that AEW has beaten TNA out to sign Kross, as she has either signed a contract with Tony Khan’s company or will be doing so very soon. It was noted that Lena Kross would be making her new home in Florida.
Kross has maintained a busy independent schedule in 2025 and has been a regular for the Japanese promotion Sendai Girls since 2022.
