AEW Announces New Four-Hour TV Special

Tony Khan AEW

AEW has announced the return of a popular TV special.

In an effort to combat other sporting events, AEW has been experimenting with its timeslots in recent weeks and months. This saw the company shift Collision from its usual two-hour time slot, and instead break it down into two one-hour shows across March 22 and 23 thanks to NCAA basketball.

While the move appeared a little unorthodox, it worked. The episodes pulled in 554,000 and 584,000 viewers respectively, which were the highest viewership since December.

In another change, AEW has now announced the return of Fyter Fest on June 4 in Denver, Colorado. But interestingly, the special which last took place in 2023, will now take place across Dynamite and Collision tapings which are being held back to back, creating a four-hour block of All Elite action.

AEW Dynasty Set For April 6

Before the company gets to Fyter Fest, there’s the small matter of Dynasty, the Owen Hart Cup, and Double or Nothing.

First up is Dynasty on April 6, with all of the promotion’s major titles on the line. In the main event, Jon Moxley will defend the World Championship against Swerve Strickland. The challenger won the World Championship for the first time at the same event 12 months ago.

Elsewhere, “Timeless” Toni Storm defends the Women’s World Title against Megan Bayne and the 2025 edition of the Owen Hart Cup continues with the likes of Mercedes Mone and Will Ospreay in action.
