AEW Announces Another Summer Residency

AEW has big plans for July.

On May 2, it was announced that AEW will be heading to the 2300 Arena for an exciting new residency through the end of the summer.

This will see the famous venue host three episodes of Dynamite, three episodes of Collision, and Ring of Honor Death Before Dishonor between August 27 and September 11.

Jump forward just 11 days, and a second residency has now been confirmed. As reported by The Chicago Sun Times, the company will be heading to Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Illinois, from July 16 until July 31. This will include three episodes of Dynamite and three episodes of Collision.

Tony Khan described the deal as a “dream come true.”

“It’s a dream come true to be able to do weeks of AEW television at the Aragon Ballroom. I’m so excited for what’s to come.

We’ve got great fans, great support and this has been the best year of AEW television from the start of the year up until now. I would never try this in a city where we didn’t have the most support; that’s why Chicago is a perfect place to try this.

It’ll be the first residency we’ve done in 2025, and I think it’s going to be something that we can really bring to Chicago.”

Tony Khan Takes Pride In AEW Slogan

During a recent interview, Tony Khan proudly declared that AEW really is “where the best wrestle.” Khan said it’s what makes the company stand out from the wrestling crowd while paying tribute to his talent roster.

He added that the company is on a great run of shows, and he’s excited to see that continue.
