AEW has announced the signing of a former NXT star that was once dubbed the “next Brock Lesnar” ahead of his appearance in the Trios Title tournament.

Parker Boudreaux was signed by WWE in February 2021 to a developmental deal amid much hype and fanfare. Paul Heyman even took to social media to sing the star’s praises with many suggesting that his look and build had him pegged as the “next Brock Lesnar.”

Boudreaux only competed six times in WWE as part of NXT 2.0 where he was rebranded as Harland, the ominous companion to the twisted Joe Gacy.

Following his release from WWE, Parker Boudreaux competed once for MLW before making his AEW debut on the episode of Dark which aired on the 2nd of August where he defeated Serpentico.

Since then he has teamed up with Ari Daivari and Slim J as The Trustbusters with the trio set to compete in the tournament to crown the first-ever AEW Trios Champions. The Trustbusters will face Best Friends in the first round with a potential semi-final showdown with either The House of Black or Dark Order awaiting.

Win or lose though, Parker Boudreaux will have reason to celebrate now AEW has announced that the 24-year-old is All Elite. Company President Tony Khan announced the news on social media after Boudreaux defeated Sonny Kiss on Rampage.
