AEW All In: Texas Breaks Major WWE Record
AEW All In: Texas has broken a wrestling record that was set six years ago.
Held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in Arlington, Texas, the event featured 12 matches, including two casino gauntlet matches, one each for the men’s and women’s divisions.
In April 2019, WrestleMania 35 featured 16 matches on the card, becoming the longest wrestling pay-per-view at the time.
The event had received praise from fans and critics, but was called out for its runtime.
Fightful Wrestling shared a post on X, confirming that the latest AEW pay-per-view surpassed the runtime of WWE WrestleMania 35.

While it can be seen as some form of an achievement, not all comments under the post were positive.
@AlanByMe: This is not a good thing btw
@HanchoJackHTX: That’s terrible. The only good matches were Osprey and Strickland, Mercedes vs Toni, and Hangman vs Moxley
@codykaiba: Thats not something to brag about, theres a reason WWE split it into 2 nights
@turasatana1: They really need to cut their ppv length…
@CamMaster_: They could have gotten rid of half of those matches
AEW Forced To Replace Title Match At All In
Hours before the show, AEW was forced to cancel Adam Cole’s TNT title defense match against Kyle Fletcher.
It was revealed that Cole had been dealing with an injury and was not cleared to compete. He was also asked to vacate the championship due to the uncertainty surrounding his return.
Kyle Fletcher, along with Daniel Garcia, Sammy Guevara, and Dustin Rhodes, competed in a four-way match to decide the new TNT Champion. Dustin Rhodes won by pinning Garcia.
Before the match began, Adam Cole spoke to the audience in attendance, claiming that a shadow hung over his return. While he did not confirm retirement, he implied he may have wrestled in his last match.
