AEW All In Nearing All-Time Attendance Record

AEW could break the record for the most-attended wrestling show “at any minute.”

The latest ticket sales update in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that 80,544 tickets have been sold for the Wembley Stadium show. Surpassing SummerSlam 1992 and the 1934 match between Jim Londos vs. Kola Kwariani, the final hurdle is WrestleMania 32, which had ticket sales of 80,709.

The Newsletter does point out that there is a distinction between tickets sold and the number of people in the building, and while unlikely, there is a possibility that those who have bought tickets will not attend on the day. It is estimated that 3,800 to 4,800 tickets will be needed to break the paid attendance mark, but this is very possible with SummerSlam selling 4,000 tickets in the last 4 days.

It is also being speculated that the sheer magnitude of the event may peak the curiosities of non-wrestling fans and this will be enough to push All In sales over the finish line.

It should also be noted that the Collision in Korea events are not included in attendance records, as people were forced to attend those events.

When Is AEW All In?

Taking place inside a near sold-out Wembley Stadium, All In will take place on Sunday, August 27th with a start time of 5 pm. Best friends Adam Cole and MJF will bookend the event, competing on the pre-show as a team to challenge Aussie Open for the Ring of Honor Tag Team Championships. The ultimate test of friendship will close out the event, as Cole will get his long-awaited rematch for the World Championship against The Devil himself.
